Simple Vision: Life Cycle

The Standish Group suggests simple vision should encompass project benefits for the short, mid, and long term of the project's life cycle, and it should be communicated, and agreed to, by all project stakeholders. The executive sponsor needs to ensure that the simple vision is tied to the overall corporate vision and strategy. The project vision and the corporate vision should mesh together in the short-, mid-, and long-term life cycle. The vision should allude to what is in it for them and how the overall organization can benefit from the project.
